Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that electrostatic discharge light noise generated inside a radiation detector cannot be detected by waveform identification because there is no difference between a noise pulse waveform and a signal pulse waveform.SOLUTION: Photoelectric peaks entering a higher energy window NH are counted by high energy window count means 11b. Compton scattering entering a low energy window NL are counted by low energy window count means 11a. If a count rate obtained by a high energy window count rate arithmetic unit 52 is greater than or equal to a set count rate, an alarm is outputted. A ratio of a low energy count rate increment to a high energy count rate increment at that time is obtained by a window ratio diagnosis unit 511. If the ratio is within a set range, this is determined to be an increase in radiation of the measured nuclide; if the ratio exceeds the set range, this is determined to be a noise inclusion.
