To provide an apparatus for measuring components of fresh tea leaves solving problems that conditions such as the thickness of a tea layer comprising fresh tea leaves, uniformity in the size of each tea leaf, density of tea leaves, and the ratio of the front side to the back side each of the tea leaves at a measuring point largely affect on values to be measured and thereby result in becoming factors of unstable evaluation while the evaluation must be objectively, strictly and precisely carried out.
The apparatus for measuring components of fresh tea leaves comprises a charging inlet for sampled fresh tea leaves, a conveyor for charged fresh tea leaves, a leveling means for the fresh tea leaves provided on the upper part of the conveyor, a compressor for the fresh tea leaves provided at the lower-stream side of the leveling means and on the upper part of the conveyor, an optical analyzer provided at the lower-stream side of the compressor for fresh tea leaves and on the upper part of the conveyor, and a controller for controlling the above mentioned means.
