PURPOSE: To make it possible to enhance the accuracy of a measured value while shortening the operation time of a switching characteristic value, by providing a means for storing a stroke signal, a means for operating a closing or opening speed and a means for performing indication upon the comparison with desired data.
CONSTITUTION: Formula (wherein l0 is a height at the point of time when a stroke signal was stabilized and t1, t2 are times respectively corresponding to 0.1l0W0.9l0) receives programming to be stored in RAM19 and a microprocessor 13 performs are operation of an opening and closing speed on the basis of the programming of the formula. Similarly, an opening speed can be also operated by using the falling part of the stroke signal 2a. Next, the obtained closing and opening speeds are compared with desired data preliminarily stored in ROM20 and, if non-coincidence, a display part 17 issues an alarm. If the contact of an opening and closing apparatus 1 is closed, a closing signal 2c and an opening signal 2d are inputted to the processor 13 through an interface circuit 14 and an interruption signal is inputted to a microcomputer to start the counting of a timer 15. A contact signal 2b stops the counting of the timer to which the interruption signal is inputted.
