PURPOSE: To make the apparatus adapt to multiple kinds of tablet sheets by controlling the tablet sheets so that the tablet sheets are grasped with upper and lower pawl bodies in such a manner that longitudinal lines of the tablet sheets are positioned almost at the center of a pair of grasping parts to enable vertical cutting in the lowest row regardless of the shape of the tablet sheets.
CONSTITUTION: When the grasping of tablets to be cut with upper and lower grasping bodies are readjusted while the tablets move within the apparatus, residual tablets are returned to a residue housing section 203 with the upper and lover grasping bodies in the width-wise direction of a tablet case 200. At this point, as the positions of the tablets are deviated in a direction X with respect to the tablet case 200, a head is moved in an opposite direction to an X axis by a distance equivalent to a deviation in the readjustment of the grasping to be back to the original position.
