Abstract:

To more properly execute charging control of a low-voltage battery.

A low-voltage battery 12 is charged with power obtained by converting the power of a high-voltage battery 18 as a power supply of a vehicle by a DC-DC converter 11, and supplies power to a low voltage load consisting of an ACC load 2, an IG load 3 and a +B load 4. A CPU 51 calculates a charging current of the low-voltage battery 12 based on an output current of the DC-DC converter 11 indicated by a signal from an output current detecting circuit 33 and a load current to the low voltage load indicated by a signal from a current sensor circuit 14, and controls the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 11 so that the charging current may not exceed a predetermined current.
