Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for evaluating voice signal quality which can carry out the quality evaluation of a voice signal including a delay fluctuation caused by a voice telephone call, and to provide a method for the same.
SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with at least a frame generating means which generates a frame to the voice signal to be evaluated which includes the delay fluctuation, a delay correction means to correct the delay fluctuation of the voice signal to be evaluated for each frame on the basis of the amount of phase adjustments in which a correlation value between the voice signal with a voiced sound for each frame and a reference voice signal becomes maximum, a first quality evaluation means which determines the first evaluation value of a phase-corrected voice signal to be evaluated on the basis of the phase-corrected voice signal connecting the voice signals in which the delay fluctuation is corrected for each frame and the reference voice signal, and a second quality evaluation means which determines the second evaluation value of the voice signal to be evaluated on the basis of the amount of phase adjustments of the voice signal corrected by the delay correction means and the first evaluation value determined by an objective quality evaluation means.
