Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a modulation response characteristic by arranging an equalizer circuit before a loop filter and after the output of a phase detector so as to input modulated signal to a control loop. CONSTITUTION: A modulation equalizer circuit 16 having an equalization/ transmitting function is inserted into the output part of a phase detector 6 between a modulation source and the input of a loop filter 8. A modulated signal from the modulation source is led into a phase fixed loop by impressing the signal only to one modulate input and processed by the circuit 16 and the processed modulation signal is inputted to an adder 17. An error signal generated by the detector 6 is added to the modulated input signal outputted from the circuit 16 can be combined signal is processed by the filter 8. The circuit 16 synthesizes an equalization transmitting function and provides a plane modulation response. Consequently a fixed modulation response, i.e., a fixed modulation level, is obtained over a wide frequency band.
