PURPOSE: To easily adjust a position of a cut sheet by making a hopper movable along a paper holder shaft to increase frictional force of the hopper and preventing its movement.
CONSTITUTION: In order to hold a cut sheet 7, a pair of hoppers 2 are moved in a thrust direction of a paper support shaft and a paper feeding roller shaft. A lock lever 3 is pivoted to an rotating shaft 3a on this hopper 2. An arm 3b is provided on the lock lever 3 and by pushing the lock lever 3 toward the rear, the arm 3b is engaged with the paper holder shaft 1. Thus the hopper 2 prevents the paper holder shaft 1 from moving in a thrust direction. Then by pulling the lock lever 3 toward the front, the arm 3b of the lock lever 3 is disengaged from the paper holder shaft 1 so that the hopper can move in the thrust direction again.
