To provide an apparatus for processing fresh tea leaves enabling elimination of impurities from fresh tea leaves using a small amount of water as little as possible by solving problems of needing expensive installation costs and installation spaces for two apparatuses because dewatering filtration equipment is necessarily provided behind a flooded-type washing apparatus and thereby resulting in being a large-scale one.
The apparatus for processing fresh tea leaves has the followings: an endless conveyor belt having air permeability; a feed hopper holding an appropriate amount of fresh tea leaves at the starting end side of the endless conveyor belt and provided with a leveling device for regulating the thickness of the fresh tea leaves to be conveyed; and a blowing means arranged at the lower side of the endless conveyor belt and jetting air out toward the upper part of the endless conveyor belt.
