Abstract:
To supply and feed a form plate to a plate cylinder without using an additional impression cylinder roller, a press roller or a conveying roller.
The apparatus for replacing a form plate of a plate cylinder of a rotary press comprises a swingable plane for guiding the plate to be replaced by capturing its lower surface. Individually operable contactors 20 are disposed on a swingable plate base 13. The contactors 20 are brought into contact with a surface 10 of the plate 6 on the base 13 to position the plate 6 at desired positions.
