Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a water-dilutable stoving filler.

CONSTITUTION: An aqueous coating agent containing a water-dilutable mixture of binding agents comprising 50-88 wt.% of a neutralized water-soluble reaction product, 10-40 wt.% of one or several blocked polyisocyanates not capable of being diluted with water as a crosslinking agent and 2-30 wt.% of at least one amine resin as an additional crosslinking agent, wherein the reaction product comprises: (A) 10-80 wt.% of a polyurethane resin having an acid number of 70-160, at least one blocked isocyanate group devoid of a free hydroxyl group and a fatty acid residue having 12 or more carbon atoms, and (B) 20-90 wt.% of a polyester resin having a hydroxyl number of 50-500 and an acid number of less than 20, and has a limiting viscosity number of 13.5-18.0 ml/g measured in DMF at 20°C.
