Title:
AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF FLUORORESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05156029
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject dispersion which can form uniform coating films even when used without stirring because the fluororesin dispersion is stable and homogeneous in fine particles, by dispersing the resin in water by a unique method. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) a fluororesin, preferably a tetrafluoroethylene resin or a tetrafluoroperfluorovinylether copolymer is dispersed in water together with (B) fluorine oil (preferably perfluoropolyether and/or trifluorochloroethylene polymer) and (C) a surfactant (preferably a lipophilic surfactant such as fatty acid glycerol ester) to give the objective aqueous dispersion. Components A and B are used at a ratio of 90/10 to 10/90 and mixed by stirring at 100 to 200 deg.C for 1 to 3 hours. The mixer has desirably dispersive stirring as well as kneading effect by the planetary motion.
