PURPOSE: To lighten the burden of a friction brake gear by comparing the sum total of electric braking force and command braking force and equally distributing and commanding an insufficient section to the frictional brake gear.

CONSTITUTION: The electric brake gear 2 controls the electric braking force in response to brake command signals 1a from a brake commander 1 and load signals 5a from a load responder 9. An adder 5 addes the electric braking force τ1, τ2 operated by each electric brake gear 2, and outputs effective electric braking force τ. A braking force transducer 6 outputs brake signals τp in response to the brake command signals 1a and the load signals 5a. An insufficient braking force detector 7 outputs insufficient braking force signals τa(τp-τ). An A/D converter 8 corrects the insufficient braking force signals τa by the load signals 5a, and gives them to the friction brake gear 4.
