Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely and simply change the arrangement of an arm rest with respect to a seat body corresponding to the body type and the working content of a sitting person by mounting the arm rest onto an arm rest supporting part so as to position the center of rotation between the front/rear tip parts of the arm rest supporting part so as to vary the angle of the longitudinal direction of it in right and left directions.
SOLUTION: By mounting an upper supporting rod 2b to the upper part of a lower supporting rod 2a standing from the side part of the seat body to be capable of freely adjusting its height, an arm rest pole 2 is constituted. Then the arm rest 3 is mounted onto the arm rest supporting part 3 formed at the upper tip part of the rod 2b of the pole 2 and facing forward and backward so as to position the center of rotation between the front/rear tip parts of the arm rest supporting part 5c so as to vary the angle of the longitudinal direction of it in right and left directions. Thereby, the arrangement of the arm rest 3 with respect to the seat body is freely and simply changed corresponding to the body type the sitting person and the operation of the keyboard of a personal computer.
