Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest arranged at the front edge part of a keyboard capable of supporting the nearly whole forearm part from the elbow to the wrist to support key operation and mouse operation while putting forearm part thereupon at the time of operation and to enable a user to carry out the mouse operation while the forearm is supported right nearby the keyboard.
SOLUTION: An expanded support part 12 and/or an elbow projection part 13 is formed nearby both the lengthwise ends of an armrest part 1 and a mouse pad 2 (21, 22) is provided on the same surface at least from the center to one end including the expanded support part 12. Here, the center part 21 of the mouse pad 2 faces a space key 4 and the expanded support part 22 almost faces a ten-key 5 and is formed or arranged projecting to outside (right side) of the ten-key 5. Further, negative slopes are formed from the center part 11 (21) facing the space key 4 of the keyboard 3 to both the lengthwise ends and an operation side in a crossing direction.
