Abstract:

To obtain in practically high activity the subject copolymer of high randomness (low alternateness) with no crystallinity derived from alternate structure recognizable.

This copolymer satisfies the following requirements: (1) aromatic vinyl compound content is 1-99 mol%, (2) the stereoregularity of the alternate structure composed of aromatic vinyl compound unit and ethylene unit stands at ≥0.75 in terms of isotactic diad, and (3) crystallinity derived from the aromatic vinyl compound-ethylene alternate structure cannot be observed even after taking an action for promoting sufficient crystallization.
