PURPOSE: To detect the direction of an arrived radio wave without losing the function of an electronic scanning antenna by using plural direction finding radiation elements aiming at the detection of the direction of the arrived radio wave for plural interleaved radiation elements of the 1st groups and connecting a phase detector to them.
CONSTITUTION: Signal cable 15, 16 are cable connecting direction finding radiation elements 2a, 2b and a phase detector 13. The reached radio wave received by the direction finding elements 2a, 2b is led to the phase detector 13 via the signal cables 15, 16. Moreover, two elements are used in the embodiment, but a radiation element and an identification circuit to identify whether or not an arrived wave comes from an angular direction at which ambiguity is caused may be added to eliminate the ambiguity.
