PURPOSE: To automatically set a tape around a winding core by engagedly attaching the feed hole on the end side of a tape which houses or supports an electronic parts to the engaging projection on the peripheral face of said winding core and winding said tape.
CONSTITUTION: Flanges 14 are provided on both sides of a winding core 13 while plural engaging projections 15 are projected at a defined pitch on the peripheral face of the winding core 13, in a reel 11 which forms an array of electronic parts. On the other hand, a tape 12 for housing or supporting electronic part 21 houses the electronic part 21 in spaces provided at a defined pitch on its base film 23 and, in a condition that cover tapes 24, 25 are stuck to and held by both faces, the tape 12 is fed into between both flanges 14 of the reel 11. In this case, by keeping the end of the tape 12 curved slightly downward, feed holes 26 provided on one side of the tape 12 at a defined pitch are engagedly attached to the engaging projections 15 on the winding core 13 of the rotating reel 11, to wind up the tape 12 around the winding core 13. Thereby, the winding operation of an array of electronic parts can be automatized.
