To provide an article dispenser which can be reduced in size as a whole and can be simplified in structure.

This article dispenser is provided with a stocker 1 for string articles C to be dispensed, a movable member 3 provided under the stocker 1 or on the bottom of the stocker 1, and a through hole 30 made through the movable member 30 so that an article C stored in the stocker 1 may drop into the hole 30 when the hole 30 is positioned under the stocker 1 or to a prescribed article receiving position of the bottom of the stocker 1. The dispenser is also provided with a supporting member 20 which supports the article C stored in the hole 30 from the bottom side and an article dispensing route 6 having an opened top at a distance from the article receiving position in the horizontal direction. The movable member 3 is provided in such a way that the member 3 can freely move forward and backward in a nearly horizontal direction and the through hole 30 can be positioned to the article receiving position and above the article dispensing route 6 as the member 30 freely moves forward and backward.
