Abstract:
PURPOSE:To display the function of each terminal equipment sufficiently and improve the operation efficiency by making a temporary reservation when a customer selects an article, and securing the article when the final reservation is made within a set period. CONSTITUTION:Plural retrieval terminal devices 1 and a reservation terminal device 2 which functions for those retrieval terminals devices in common are arranged in a public space 100. The respective retrieval terminal devices 1 and reservation terminal device 2 are connected to a DC branch device 31, to which a modem 32 is connected. This modem 32 is connected to the modem 34 of a center 40 through a transmission line 33. The modem 34 of the center 40 is connected to a central processor 42 through a communication controller 41. Data on an optional article on a detail screen for temporary reservation which is displayed on the CRT display part of a retrieval terminal device 1 is inputted on a keyboard to make a temporary reservation, and when data for the final reservation is inputted on the keyboard of the reservation terminal device 2 within the set period, the final reservation is made.
