PURPOSE: To exactly measure the dose received by the article itself by incorporating an org. material contg. amino acid into an org. material which is the constituting material of the article.

CONSTITUTION: The org. material contg. the amino acid having the functions of a dosimeter for radiations is used as the constituting material of the article and is incorporated into the constituting material, above all, org. material of the equipment and articles. The dose of the radiations exposed to the constituting material and eventually the article is thereby directly measured. Alanine is optimum as the amino acid.
