PURPOSE: To provide an artificial contact stimulus generator capable of feeding back the contact of the skin and another body as still clear tactual sense in order to accurately confirm the contact state of the skin with the body such as the grasping state of the body in daily life or in training the functions of a person declined in tactual sense.
CONSTITUTION: A stimulus generator 1 to be attached to the skin is constituted by integrating a contact pressure detector and a fine vibration generator and the contact pressure detector is connected to an operation part and the fine vibration generator is connected to a stimulus output generating part. The operation part grasps the pressure change in the contact pressure detector as a voltage change and the stimulus output generating part generates vibration output for driving the fine vibration generator in the frequency corresponding to the voltage grasped by the operation part.
