Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor device capable of product-sum operation.SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises a first memory cell, a second memory cell, and an off-set circuit, and holds first analog data in the first memory cell and reference analog data in the second memory cell. When a reference potential is applied as selecting signal, the first memory cell and the second memory cell have functions to cause first current and second current to flow, respectively. The off-set circuit has a function to cause third current corresponding to difference current between the first current and the second current to flow. The first memory cell and the second memory cell of the semiconductor device respectively have functions to cause fourth current and fifth current to flow when a potential corresponding to the second analog data is applied as selecting signal. By subtracting the third current from difference current between the fourth current and the fifth current, current depending on the product sum of the first analog data and the second analog data is acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
