Title:
ASEISMIC AND WEATHERPROOF TILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002332716
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate such problems in conventional structures that a displacement prevention and a floating prevention are not sufficient, easiness and reliability of binding of tiles must be improved, aseismic and wind resistant effects and easiness and reliability of binding must be improved, means such as projections and projected lines are required also when the tiles are placed on a pallet, the structure is complicated, and a cost is high.

This aseismic and weatherproof tile comprises a cleat bulge surface of a cleat and a horizontal bottom part for forming a generally horizontal surface. A locking projected part, a stepped overlapped lower piece, a stepped overlapped upper piece, and a locking recessed part are formed near the base cut-in part on the front surface of the tile, at the head cut-in part on the front surface of the tile, near the base cut-in part on the rear surface of the tile, and near the head side on the rear surface of the tile, respectively, in the positional relation of generally relative to each other on the front and rear surfaces of the tile. The stepped overlapped upper piece is covered on the stepped overlapped lower piece, and the locking recessed part is engaged with the locking projected part. The displacement of the tile from the tile positioned above that tile is restricted by the locking projected part and the locking recessed part, and the floating of the heads of the tile and the tile positioned diagonally above that tile is restricted by the stepped overlapped lower piece and the stepped overlapped upper piece.
