PURPOSE: To provide a composition having excellent abrasion resistance to spike tire chain, by compounding asphalt to aggregate composed of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and filler.
CONSTITUTION: An aggregate composition composed of coarse aggregate (≥2.5mm), fine aggregate (2.5W0.074mm) and a filler (≤0.074mm) is compounded with asphalt to attain an effective void ratio of 1W3%, preferably 1.5W2%. The net content of the coarse aggregate in the aggregate composition is 48W62 volume %, and the net volume ratio of the fine aggregate to the filler (fine aggregate/ filler) is ≥1.4, and the net filler content is 13W20 volume %. The coarse aggregate used is crushed rigid slag stone, and the asphalt is preferably those added with 15W50wt% of Trinidad equlet.
