Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an asphalt emulsion composition capable of carrying out cold execution used for producing a usual paving material such as a road for heavy traffic, a sidewalk or a park road, excellent in storage stability and further excellent in durability such as peel resistance of an asphalt from an aggregate. SOLUTION: This asphalt emulsion composition for cold execution is obtained by emulsifying and dispersing (A) 100 pts.wt. of the asphalt and/or a modified asphalt, (B) 1-20 pts.wt. of a tackifying polymer, (C) 1-15 pts.wt. of a higher fatty acid and (D) 0.1-7 pts.wt. of an emulsifying agent as essential components in water.
