To produce an asphalt mix that can safely and beautifully brighten the surfaces of paved roads by using a macadam size glass cullet having antistripping properties.

The asphalt mix comprises the glass cullet prepared by crushing waste glass into pieces of macadam sizes and removing the sharp corners and cellulose fibers prepared by purifying used paper sheets. The asphalt mix is produced through the following steps: the step where glass cullet is crushed in the macadam sizes; the step where the glass cullet is heated; the step where the heated glass cullet is admixed to asphalt heated up to a prescribed temperature; and the step where a suitable amount of the cellulose fibers is admixed to the asphalt mixture.
