Abstract:
To provide an asphalt mixture which can easily be handled, has improved distortion resistance, plastic deformation resistance and water resistance, and is used for draining pavements having high durability.
This asphalt mixture comprising at least aggregate and asphalt is characterized by compounding at least one resin additive selected from the group consisting of terpene resins, modified terpene resins, rosin resins, modified rosin resins, petroleum resins, and modified petroleum resins in an amount of 3 to 15 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. of the asphalt.
