To obtain an asphalt modifying material making a dense-granular size asphalt mixture used for highly durable pavement have sufficient durability as the highly durable pavement without being influenced by the kind of an aggregate and improving the operating efficiency due to a low viscosity, a modified asphalt for the highly durable pavement using the modifying material, and a modified asphalt mixture for the highly durable pavement having excellent durability and applicability.
The asphalt modifying material for the highly durable pavement consists essentially of an acrylic or a methacrylic resin. The asphalt modifying material for the highly durable pavement is obtained by regulating the viscosity at 60°C of the modified asphalt comprising the asphalt modifying material for the highly durable pavement and an asphalt to ≥10 times of the viscosity at 60°C of the asphalt and the dynamic stability of the asphalt mixture comprising the aggregate and the modified asphalt to ≥3,000 times/mm.
