PURPOSE: To make it possible to construct stairs without requiring side beams and to promote simplification of stair construction, curtailment of a construction and reduction of cost.
CONSTITUTION: Horizontal plates 2 and vertical plates 3 are alternatively combined with each other to form in the shape of a stair, a stair assembly device 1 is so formed that each of the horizontal plates 2 and each of the vertical plates 3 are connected to each other through a mounting and reinforcing side plate 4 in their sides, and a pair of stair assembly devices 1 are opposed to each other at a specific interval and are arranged. Either a tread 6 or a pace forming board is laid to the front sides of the horizontal plates 2 of both stair assembly devices 1 and is fixed. A riser 7 is laid to the front sides of the vertical plates 3 and is fixed.
