Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved geometric structure in assembly of an outer panel and a lining of a hood made of two different materials to ensure a looseness and a leveling (protrusion) adjustment between the hood and the other member of a vehicle such as a fender of the vehicle.SOLUTION: In an assembly method of a vehicle hood including an outer panel 10 made of a first material and a lining 12 made of a second material that is different from the first material, the method includes: a step of applying an adhesive having a resin as a major component to the outer panel 10 or the lining 12 so that the adhesive is arranged between the outer panel 10 and the lining 12 in the assembly of a hood; and a curing step for curing at least a part of the adhesive. In some cases, the curing step is performed separately from a dry processing step of the hood performed as needed after the impregnation of the hood in electrophoretic bath.
