This assembly for influencing the condition of a mitral valve annulus of a heart includes: a mitral valve therapy device remodeling the mitral valve annulus when being deployed within the coronary sinus of the heart adjacent the mitral valve annulus of the heart and having a proximal end including a coupling structure; a catheter guiding the mitral valve therapy device within the coronary sinus of the heart and having a lumen; a second coupling structure locked to the coupling structure of the mitral valve therapy device; and a locking member that locks the coupling structure of the mitral valve therapy device to the second coupling structure and releasing the coupling structure of the mitral valve therapy device from the second coupling structure. The coupling structure of the mitral valve therapy device includes a hoop structure.
