Abstract:
To provide a bathing apparatus which allows a person to readily take a hot bath anytime by himself/herself without a fear of a risk of falling and necessity of assistance in order to solve such a problem that the risk of falling and necessity of assistance are increased following reduction in physical strength since the person has to step over a rim of a bathtub and lie down in the bathtub when taking a hot bath in the normal bathing.SOLUTION: A bathtub has a structure that is separated to a bathtub side face sheet 1 and a bathtub bottom face sheet 2. Raw materials with characteristics that bond together when being warmed up are utilized for the respective sheets. A person gets in a bathtub in such a state that the bathtub is separated and overlaps the bathtub side face sheet 1 with the bathtub bottom face sheet 2 by himself/herself. When the raw materials are warmed up with hot water from a shower, a contact face 8 between the bathtub side face sheets and a contact face 9 between the bathtub side face sheet and the bathtub bottom face sheet bond together to allow hot water to be accumulated, and the person can take a hot bath.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
