To provide an assist grip allowing an assist grip body to be changeover-held in a desired attitude between a lying attitude and a gripped attitude.

The assist grip body 10 in the lying attitude is pressed to an interior wall 14 to release the lock between a locking projecting part 42 provided at a stay 40, and a locking hole 34, and the assist grip body 10 is lifted into the gripped attitude of being raised from the interior wall 14 by the energizing force of a compression coil spring 43. When the assist grip body in the gripped attitude is pressed to the interior wall 14, the stay 40 moves to the inner side of a recess 50 while elastically deforming the compression coil spring 43, and when letting go of the assist grip body 10, the stay 40 is slightly put back by the reaction of the compression coil spring 43, and the locking projecting part 42 is locked into the locking hole 34. The assist grip body 10 is thereby held in the lying attitude by a torsion coil spring 25.
