Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the response to a user by preserving an association which becomes a free state without being released in the application layer of an OSI and subsequently reusing an optimum free association.
CONSTITUTION: The AE(application entity) 100 in an application layer preserves DST(dialogue status table) 108 including an application context name to be the information for discriminating an association which becomes an idle state without releasing the association, a presentation context list and the attribute of a winner and a loser in a chain in an idle control table. When a dialogue establishment request exists, the AE 100 retrieves a DST 108 matching with the application context name designated by the request, the presentation context list and the attribute of the winner and the loser and establishes a dialogue based on the matched DST 108.
