Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assorter for empty packaging materials which is excellent in productivity and reliability and is capable of dealing with any lines regardless of whether the lines are newly constructed lines or are existing lines.
SOLUTION: In case of unpacking a can lid package formed by packing a plurality of sheets of the can lid materials and recovering the remaining empty packaging materials, the equipment is for assorting the materials to the materials consisting of the packaging materials alone and the can lid material-containing packaging materials which is provided with an empty packaging material dropping section 10 for dropping the empty packaging materials after unpacking to the prescribed position, a presence or absence detecting section 30 for the can lid materials to judge whether the can lid materials are included in the empty packaging materials or not and a damper section 50 for classifying the detected empty packaging materials. The presence or absence detecting section 30 for the can lid materials have a pair of turning rollers 31 and 32 which face each other and are adapted to be expanded in the distance L between a pair of the roller shafts according to the thickness of the materials to be grasped. The decision of the presence or absence of the inclusion of the can lid materials is made possible by detecting the magnitude of the moving quantity of the distance L between the roller shafts.
