Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus that decides a measurement value while an ATM cell arrives. CONSTITUTION: A variable and a coefficient which are peculiar to a channel are taken out from a storage device with a channel number read by a reader 1 as an index. A time display device 4 decides an arrival time ATn in resolution expressed by a storage device 3, a storage device 5 shows a reference arrival time RATn of a data cell, and a calculating device 6 decides the difference CVn between the arrival time of the last arriving data cell and the reference arrival time. Calculating devices 10 and 12 multiply coefficients C2 and C3 which are supplied from storage devices 9 and 11 by the reference arrival time and the arrival time, and those results are added to a coefficient T that is supplied by a storage device 13 and become a reference arrival time RATn+1 to following data cells. A comparator 8 compares threshold TH that is supplied from a storage device 7 with a result of the device 6, and a switching device 2 instructs a data cell not to be sent to a downstream transmission network when it is larger than the threshold.
