PURPOSE: To execute operation at the time of attending and leaving the office at a worker's own seat by substituting a multifunctional telephone set for a time card.

CONSTITUTION: When the attendance button of the multifunctional telephone set 3 is pushed, a central processing unit 8 starts an interface part 7 in response to information from a telephone line network 4. Next, when a card 1 is made to pass through a card reader 2, card information is sent to the line network 4, and further, it is stored in the interface part 7 through the processing unit 8. After the completion of storage, the processing unit 8 sends an acknowledge signal to the telephone set 3 through the line network 4. Next, the operation of a host computer 6 is executed, the storage information of the interface part 7 is collected.
