Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate echo effects by sending back to respective monitor spots a monitor signal, which includes no input signal sent from monitor spots. CONSTITUTION: When an audio input signal from an audio microphone 30 is selected so as to be active at channels A of I/O modules 2, 4, 6 and 8, the channels are linked to a bus inside a mixer console 10 and the audio input signal is mixed with other selected input signals. Monitor signals from the I/O modules 2, 4, 6 and 8 are supplied to an amplifier 26. When a control port is set so as to enable a direct output, an input signal from a microphone 30 is amplified and broadcasted from a loudspeaker 24. An operator can set the control port for transmitting a mix-minus monitor signal. When mixing the signal from the microphone 30 with an audio signal from a remote microphone 32 or a signal from a broadcasting means 46, the user of microphone 30 is free from any feedbacks.
