Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the audio signal power amplifier circuit and the audio equipment in which power consumption of an output circuit is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The amplifier circuit includes a supply power control circuit 40 consisting of a push-pull amplifier 3 amplifying an outputting an audio signal B, a push-pull amplifier 5 receiving he signal B and inversely amplifying it to provide an output, a detection circuit 50, a switching regulator circuit 60, and a smoothing circuit 70. The switching regulator circuit 60 is made up of a control voltage generating circuit 65 and a switching circuit 66. A voltage at an output terminal 6 is fluctuated in following to a level of an output signal C under the control of the supply power control circuit 40. A voltage between the output terminal 6 and an output terminal for an output signal of a TR Q1 is kept constant and the power consumption of the TR Q1 is reduced. A detection circuit 55 is provided corresponding to a TR Q3.
