The measuring system has a displaying part 12 which measures the weight of a user S and displays the weight measured value of the user S, a camera part 13 which is arranged near the displaying part 12, images the face of the user S turned to the displaying part 12 in accordance with the display of the weight measured value on the displaying part 12 and acquires a picked-up image including the face area of the user S, a control part 15 which controls the camera part 13, and an authenticating part which uses the picked-up image acquired by the camera part 13 to perform individual authentication of the user S.
