Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system or the like capable of limiting connection of an information terminal device 20 as is infected with computer virus, even if the individual authentication of a user is successful, by using a virtual private network such as VPN between the information processor 20 of the user and a server 50 in a LAN 46 of a company or the like.
SOLUTION: The information terminal device 20 can obtain information related to vulnerability for specifications of the information terminal device 20 from an information providing site 18 connected to an IP network 14, acquire a vulnerability value based on the information, and calculate, on the basis of the vulnerability value, the degree of risk showing a risk in security in connecting the information terminal device 20 to the server 50. This degree of risk is transmitted to the server 50. The server 50 performs the security authentication of the information terminal device 20 when the degree of risk is a predetermined threshold or less to allow the access, and denies the access, when it is more than the predetermined threshold, without performing the security authentication of the information terminal device 20.
