Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication test method capable of performing a mutual authentication test between a key device and a base device even if the specific ID of the key device is not actually registered to the base device and, during the shipping, bringing the devices used for the authentication test into a non-tied state.
SOLUTION: The key device 1 having the specific ID and a function 3 for transmitting the specific ID and the base device 10 having a function 11 for receiving the specific ID and a memory part 12 storing the specific ID are prepared in this method. The specific ID of the key device 1 is read by a reading means 20. The read specific ID is written in the memory part 12 of the base device 10. The specific ID of the key device 1 is transmitted, and received by the base device 10. The specific ID written in the memory part 12 of the base device 10 is compared with the received specific ID for mutual authentication. Then, the specific ID written in the memory part 12 of the base device 10 is erased.
