To allow usage when usage environment dislikes contact of an object charged with magnetism and must avoid it.
The auto-tension winch is provided with a hang up wire (8) for hanging up a hung up article; a drum (10) for winding the hang up wire; a hydraulic motor (30) for rotating the drum by oil pressure; a hydraulic control mechanism (40) for controlling operation of the hydraulic motor; and a winch base (1) for supporting the drum, the hydraulic motor and the hydraulic control mechanism. In the auto-tension winch, the hydraulic control mechanism automatically adjusts tension of the hang up wire in response to vertical movement of the hung up article. Any one or more of the hang up wire, the drum, a circuit block (41) of the hydraulic control mechanism, and the winch base are formed by a non-magnetic material. Further, the winch is further provided with a press roller (20) for pressing the hang up wire arranged on the winch base and wound on the drum and the press roller is formed by a non-magnetic material. 50 Mass% or more of the auto-tension winch is formed by a non-magnetic material.
