To provide an autoanalyzer capable of easily moving a constituent element containing a dispensing arm by manual operation at the start of the autoanalyzer, and preventing the wasteful consumption of power, and a drive control device of a stepping motor.
The autoanalyzer has a rotor operated in conjunction with the dispensing arm, a stator, the stepping motor provided at one of the rotor and a stator and having a plurality of coils excited by supplied currents, a drive means for changing over the target coil supplying the currents, a power supply for supplying the currents to the respective constituent elements containing the drive means, and a control means for stopping the supply of the currents to all the plurality of coils when power is fed to the drive means and subsequently starting the supply of the currents to the plurality of coils when receiving a predetermined indication and successively rotating the rotor.
