Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correct chord data into correct chord specification by replacing the non-chord data with chord data which is specified next when the non-chord data is detected on a recording means and the timing difference from the non- chord data to the next specified chord data is less than a specific value.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 201 records chords, inputted by player's keying operation on a keyboard part 101, in the chord memory area of a RAM 203 in chord memory recording mode and performs chord correcting operation for the recording contents of the chord memory area at the end of the chord memory recording mode. Namely, if non-chord data is found by retrieving the recording contents from the beginning at the end of the chord memory recording mode and chord data is further successively found within certain timing, the chord data is moved to the timing of the non-chord data to correct chord miskeying operation.
