Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic answering telephone set which transfers a receiving message to a transfer destination device connected via a telephone line at a high speed without deteriorating the sound quality.
SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a receiving message being an analog signal via a telephone line 26 when an automatic answering telephone set 1 functions as an automatic answering telephone, an A/D converter 13 converts the signal into a digital signal and a DSP 14 executes coding processing to store the result to a memory 22. When transfer of the receiving message stored in the memory 22 is instructed via the telephone line 26, the coded digital signal is read out from the memory 22 and a MODEM 12 modulates the digital signal into an analog signal to transmit it.
