Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mistakes caused by payment of mixed cash and cash vouchers.SOLUTION: An automatic change machine 100 includes: a paper piece discriminating section 124 for discriminating whether a paper piece is a preregistered paper money bill, a changeable cash voucher, or a cash voucher for which change cannot be paid and determining a face value of the paper piece; a change upper limit obtaining unit 127 which obtains the sum of the face value of the paper piece determined to be a paper money and the face value of the paper piece determined to be a changeable cash voucher as a change upper limit amount; and a change payment unit 122 which obtains a difference between the receipt amount and the purchase amount as the change amount, pays changes corresponding to the change amount when the change amount is equal to or less than the change upper limit amount, and pays changes corresponding to the change upper limit amount when the change amount is not less than the change upper limit amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
