Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a net and a grate well by following the steps of polishing/ cleaning, draining and polishing/cleaning/rinsing without discharging cleaning water and detergent and without requiring water supply during cleaning.
SOLUTION: In a washer main body 1, a rotating drum 5 which receives small pieces of polishing/cleaning material 9 and detergent and has a polygonal peripheral side is laid in a transverse direction so as to be vertically rotatable within a water tank 2 whose top face opens. The peripheral side of the rotating drum 5 is provided with small holes 11 in groups, while a part thereof is provided with an entrance part 5C. The water tank 2 is provided with a drain pipe 19 and an overflow pipe 21 provided with motor valves 20, 22, respectively. During polishing/cleaning of a net or a grate 29 placed in the rotating drum 5, the motor valves 20, 22 are both closed to stop water supply to and draining from the water tank 2, and during polishing/cleaning/rinsing, the motor valve 20 of the drain pipe 19 is closed while water is supplied to the water tank 2.
