PURPOSE: To lighting device by which light is turned-ON automatically when illumination is necessary from evening to the night or in tunnels and in which light putting-out is impossible unless an engine switch is turned-OFF.

CONSTITUTION: When an engine switch 2 is turned-ON, an engine switch relay 3 is operated by a battery 1, and the contact is closed, and a light receiving circuit 9 is operated through the contact of a manually operated switch relay 4. In the evening, if the light receiving circuit 9 is operated, the realy 6 of a small lamp is operated through a light receiving circuit 10, and the small lamp 20 and a number lamp 21 light up. After that, if the light receiving circuit 10 is operated the signal corresponding to the revolution of an engine 11 and the signal corresponding to the revolution of a wheel 13 operate a front illumination lamp relay 7 through a timer relay 14, and upper and lower front illumination lamps 18 and 19 light up.
